These beautiful Blue Heron earrings were hand cut from coins minted in the African country of Malawi. On these earrings we used sterling silver to make the earrings which really look great when being worn. The design on the coin was of a Blue Heron walking in the water with reeds surrounding its legs. This earrings measures 5/8″ in diameter so it is on the small side, about the size of a United States dime. The earrings are super light so very comfortable being worn. We mount the earrings on high quality sterling silver ear wires.
