These Love Bird earrings are the newest in our Bird lineup being done as earrings. The coins were half pennies from the country of South Africa and were minted and used from 1961 – 1964. We have offered this design for many years but are just now offering them as earrings. The design that was used is of two love birds facing each other while in the branch of a tree. These earrings measure just about an inch in diameter so work very well both in size and weight for earrings. After all the hand work is complete we finish the earrings in 14 karat gold and rhodium plating to enhance the finished design. The earrings are mounted on 14 karat gold fill ear wires of high quality.
