Description
This Mexican eagle pendant was hand cut from a 50 peso coin that was minted from 1981 – 1935. Mexico has always featured the symbol of Mexico city on one side of there coins and this was an earlier version of that. The symbol is of an Eagle clutching a snake in mouth while perched on a cactus branch. We do a few different designs from Mexico and on this one we also hand cut the lettering which spells out the Republic of Mexico. After all the hand cutting is done we finish the coin in 14 karat gold and rhodium to bring out the best of the design. The pendant measures just over 1″ in diameter so is appropriate for a male or female. The pendant comes complete with a 14 karat gold plated box chain that finishes off the piece nicely. The chains are available in four different lengths for you to choose from.
Please be advised we are just starting to offer this piece and are very low on stock!
